Cookie Policy

Last updated: 30 June 2026

1. What cookies and local storage are

Cookies are small text files stored on your computer, tablet or mobile device by your web browser when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognise your device, remember your preferences and maintain secure functionality. In addition to traditional cookies, Atlantor ("we", "us", "our") uses similar web storage technologies such as localStorage and sessionStorage on bookatlantor.com. These serve a similar purpose to cookies but can store data directly within your browser. We refer to all these technologies collectively as "Cookies".

2. Types of cookies we use

A. Strictly necessary cookies (always active): essential for the core operation of the website and cannot be switched off — they manage your session and security authentication, remember regional and language preferences, and secure the multi-step booking and payment flow. You can set your browser to block them, but parts of the booking flow will not function. B. Analytics cookies (subject to consent): count visits, analyse traffic sources, track page performance and help us understand navigation. We use privacy-preserving aggregated analytics and all data is anonymised. They are disabled by default and only activated when you explicitly click "Accept All" or opt in to Analytics. C. Functional & third-party media cookies (subject to consent): our platform integrates third-party services such as interactive Google Maps for departure points or embedded media players. Loading these may allow providers (like Google) to drop their own tracking cookies. These features are blocked from loading until you grant consent.

3. Cookie lifespans

Session cookies are temporary and deleted automatically when you close the browser. Persistent cookies remain stored for a predetermined period or until you manually delete them, allowing us to remember you on return visits (for example to keep your language preference).

4. How to manage and withdraw your consent

In strict compliance with the EU ePrivacy Directive, the GDPR and the Spanish LSSI-CE, non-essential cookies are never placed on your device without your prior, explicit consent. Cookie banner: on your first visit you can "Accept All", "Reject All" non-essential cookies, or "Customize Preferences". Withdrawing consent: you can change or fully withdraw your consent at any time using the persistent "Cookie Settings" link in the footer. Browser settings: you can also configure your browser to delete, block or reject cookies entirely — consult the documentation of Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge.

5. Updates to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the technologies we use or in regulatory frameworks. The most up-to-date version will always be published on this page with the revised "Last updated" date.
